FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
DO YOU STILL OFFER PIERCINGS?
We no longer offer piercings at our studio and are now strictly tattoos only.
IS THERE A STUDIO/SHOP MINIMUM CHARGE?
Yes, the studio minimum charge for any ink/tattoo starts at £80. This covers the cost of sterile, single-use equipment (needles, ink, ink cups, protective materials etc) as well as the artist’s time and expertise. Even small tattoos require the same level of preparation, hygiene, and care as larger pieces.
HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE?
We price our tattoos based on the final design and size of your piece. Once we’ve discussed your idea, we’ll provide a quote that we aim to stick to. However, the final cost can only be confirmed once the design, placement, and sizing are finalised on the day of your appointment. We don’t charge by the hour, as every artist works at a different pace. What may take one artist 4 hours could take another 5–6 hours — so we believe pricing by the piece is the fairest approach.
WHAT SHOULD I DO BEFORE GETTING A TATTOO?
Before getting a tattoo, ensure you stay well-hydrated, get a restful night's sleep and steer clear of alcohol and blood-thinning medications. Additionally, it's crucial to have a nutritious meal before your appointment to prepare your body.

WHAT IS THE HEALING TIME FOR A TATTOO?
The duration for a tattoo to heal varies based on factors such as size, placement and your body's healing capabilities. It can take anywhere from 3-4 weeks for a tattoo to complete its healing process.
CAN I GET A TATTOO BEFORE GOING ON HOLIDAY?
If you're going somewhere hot where your tattoo will be exposed to the suns radiation it is vital to have your tattoo done at least 4 weeks before the holiday as things like sunburn can affect the healing process. If you are returning from somewhere warm, it's worth noting that we cannot tattoo over sunburn either. The same 3-4 week time frame applies for swimming or submerging the area of the body that you have got tattooed.

IS IT OK TO BRING A FRIEND/FAMILY MEMBER WITH ME FOR MY TATTOO SESSION?
The space in our studio is limited so we would kindly ask that only those who are getting tattooed come into the tattooing area. However if you are bringing a friend/family member they are more than welcome to wait for you in our reception area.
HOW CAN I SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT?
There are a couple of ways to secure an appointment. Simply use the enquiry form below or message us directly on Facebook/Instagram. Our team will promptly respond to discuss your ideas and confirm the date and time for your booking.
DO YOU OFFER FINGER/FACE TATTOOS?
Unfortunately, we do not offer finger or face tattoos within our studio.
CAN I USE NUMBING CREAM?
Numbing creams aren’t recommended & we'd prefer if you didn't, but if you choose to use one, let us know so that we can clear it with the artist beforehand. If you turn up on the day having applied numbing cream without notifying us, we may refuse to do your tattoo.
CAN I GET ASHES MIXED INTO MY TATTOO/INK?
No. We never mix foreign substances into our inks, both for safety and hygiene reasons. There are special businesses who offer ash mixing. We would be happy to use that provided you take the ink with you on the day.
DO I NEED TO PAY A DEPOSIT?
The short answer is yes. We will kindly request a £50 deposit for anything up to a half day booking (4 hours) and a £100 deposit for anything from a half day to a full day (4-8 hours). The deposit will go towards the final price of your tattoo on the day of your appointment. We are unable to reserve times & dates, or create a booking without a deposit being paid.
HOW CAN I PAY THE DEPOSIT & CAN I GET IT REFUNDED?
You can bay your deposit via BACS or by popping into the studio with cash. Deposits are non-refundable, they protect the artist’s time, design prep and booking admin. If you cancel with sufficient notice (48 hours minimum) we can reschedule and hold your deposit for up to a year.
CAN I PAY WITH CARD?
Our studio is cash only. That being said, we can take BACS (bank transfer) payments, although cash is preferred. We do not have the facility at the studio to accept card payments.
WHERE IS BEST TO PARK?
There's a Tesco Supermarket opposite our studio. First two hours are free to park, then payment must be made using an app named "YourParkingSpace". Alternatively, there is pay to park bays along Ardross Terrace/Street.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE CAN I BOOK?
We try & work 2 months in advance where possible. This allows artists to plan time off/schedule other events - For example, if it were January, we would book up until the end of March.
DO YOU TAKE WALK INS OR IS IT APPOINTMENT ONLY?
We are appointment only, although cancelations & rescheduled appointments do happen. We will post any openings on our Facebook/Instagram, or alternatively it may be quickest/easiest to call the studio to see if we have any spaces available.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO RECEIVE A TATTOO IF I AM BELOW 18 YEARS OLD?
Unfortunately, we strictly adhere to the legal age requirement for tattooing, which is 18 years old. A valid ID confirming your age is essential before any tattoo services can be provided.
